The Bulgarian Ministers assessed highly the work of the Saxe-Coburg Cabinet during the first 100 days since it stepped in power. According to them the fall of confidence in the Cabinet is normal, Info Radio reported. According to Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Nikolay Vassilev the first 100 days of the Cabinet were intense, active and energetic. `We will always have to chase the front running expectations of the population,` Vassilev said, commenting the fall of public confidence in the Bulgarian Government. According to Finance Minister Velchev the fall in confidence is understandable, considering the start of the winter and the increase in the electricity and heating prices. According to the Bulgarian Transport Minister, the Cabinet had to implement many unpopular measures, which were late or postponed due to lack of courage. Transport Minister Petrov pointed out that the work of the Cabinet is positively assessed by the foreign officials, taking into consideration that the latest round of negotiations with the European Union ended with closure of the Telecommunications and Information Technologies chapter.
