Nepotism is standard operating procedure in Bulgaria. It is shameful, but true. Show me one Bulgarian in a prominent position be it politics, business, journalism, or any other field whose father was not a prominent communist or a prominent mutra. The apple does not fall far from the parent tree in Bulgaria. Most of the old communists stole Bulgarian government funds back in the day and their offspring is benefiting from the stolen money now. All the Bulgarian government is made up of the sons and daughters of the old communist thieves. All of these people should be putting their parents in jail, not being trusted with the governing of a EU country. It does not happen in Poland or Hungary or anywhere else. Bulgaria is a nepotism paradise. Why do you think no one wants top make public the names of the old communist swine? Because they are the same names of today's Bulgarian government.

I do not condone nepotism. I fully support the French who protested loudly and clearly when Nicholas Sarkozy's son was nominated for something. The young Sarkozy had to withdraw his nomination. Nepotism is not tolerated anywhere in the civilized world. The fact that it is so prevalent in Bulgaria speaks volumes about Bulgaria's backwardness.
