Bulgaria: Beheaded Body Found in Northeast Bulgarian Town Veliki Preslav

The beheaded body of a man has been found early on Saturday in the town of Veliki Preslav, Northeastern Bulgaria, near a church.

The man has been identified as Mehmed T., 48, a citizen of the town.

Police said passers-by accidentally came across the body of the man, whose head was found in a newly-built house, probably after having been dragged there by stray dogs.

An investigation into the case has been launched.
