NATO forces have been reported to have killed a dozen opposition members and some peaceful residents of the western Libyan city of Ajdabiya.

Al Jazeera has claimed that NATO planes have eliminated by error 13 fighters of the Libyan opposition they were intended to help.

On their part, authorities in Tripoli have informed that NATO forces have also killed six civilians in Ajdabiya.
