Bulgaria has become a more attractive destination for its neighbours at the north, Romanian Newspaper Nine O'clock writes.

Bulgaria, altogether with Greece, Spain, Turkey and Italy, is among Romanians' most desirable places for holidaying.

Romanian tourism agencies reported that the demand for trips to Bulgaria marked fourteen times increase in 2006 as compared to the previous year.

This season, 150,000 Romanian tourists travelled abroad, by the end of the summer 10-15% increase is expected, an executive manager of a travel agency has announced.

Bulgaria has also registered an increase in Romanians holidaying along the Black Sea coastline. Bills of fare can be seen in Romanian, hotel and restaurants owners are instructing their staff to learn Romanian.

Romanians vacationing in Bulgaria say the country is an attractive destination offering cheap and reliable services.
