Bulgaria's Environment Minister Dzhevdet Chakarov told journalists that Bulgaria will seek compensation from Serbia, now that the source of the Danube spill is known.

Romanian media have also reported that their country is ready to sue Serbia over the pollution.

Serbian authorities have finally admitted that the spill came from a punctured pipeline at the Prahovo port.
