Alpine skier Maria Kirkova will be carrying the Bulgarian flag during the opening ceremony of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games.
This will be Kirkova's third consecutive participation in the Olympics. In 2010, she finished 33rd in the women's downhill, while in 2006, she did not manage to finish the slalom race.
The 28-year-old Bulgarian will take part in the giant slalom and the slalom in Sochi.
The opening ceremony will take place on February 7.
